Dr. Sam Ogbu-Nwobodo 

Dr. Sam Ogbu-Nwobodo is a Nigerian legal scholar and public sector executive, currently serving as the Managing Director and CEO of the Enugu State Investment Development Authority (ESIDA). He holds a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) degree and has previously served as Enugu State’s Commissioner for Commerce, Trade, and Industry. Dr. Ogbu-Nwobodo is also the state’s Focal Person on Ease of Doing Business and a member of the PEBEC–NEC Technical Working Group, representing the Southeast region. He has led major investment and infrastructure initiatives, including the revitalization of state-owned enterprises and the development of a modern international motor spare parts market at 9th Mile. His work is central to Enugu State’s goal of expanding its GDP to $30 billion through private-sector-driven growth.
